Subject: Database back-up Issues

Hello,

I want to back-up our Song Database on Easy Worship 2009, making sure everything is on there before we move to Easy Worship 6.
I have read how to do this numerous times, and every one of them says to copy the files onto a USB pen drive and then transfer it over.
I have done this on numerous occasions, but it keeps saving our database from January 2016, so when I transfer to Easy Worship 6 it has all songs from January 2016 and before. But does not have any of the songs added to Easy Worship 2009 since January 2016.
So my question is how do I save a back-up of the current database that we use in church onto the computers hardrive, so that the default song list when I open Easy Worship 2009 is the one that I can transfer?
As I don't fancy adding a years worth of new songs onto Easy Worship 6.

Any help will be apprecited.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
