Hello,

Brief background, I've been a software dev for a few years and within that, I've managed to learn automation by way of an open-source library. First I used the IDE, then afterwards was able to automate further using its library by making a tool used by the testing team which saved the company megabucks.
Fast forward to now, I'm looking at a career in automation testing, so I have a few questions:
1. How is the job market right now?
2. Can you automate everything?
3. How stressful is automation as compared to software dev?
4. How fun is automation?
5. Is research and development in this field good?
6. What are your tools of trade?
7. What do you think of automation's future?
I think I might be way over my head but there's this opportunity that wants me to present a solution in front of their folks. Since I just thought myself everything I know, I'm afraid. But I guess this is an opportunity I should take. You only regret the things you don't go for.

Any help will be apprecited.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
